ABOUT WSA
The WSA is a UN based initiative. It is a highly competitive, global award system selecting and promoting digital innovations that improve society.
IFIE is the national representative of the WSA in Israel.
Each year, all 180 UN member countries nominate digital innovation startups to advance to the next international rounds.
Combining an ongoing series of international events and activities with a global network of start-ups, social entrepreneurs, mentors, jurors, speakers, experts, government leaders, academia and civil society, WSA is an international platform for cutting edge examples of how ICTs can impact society in a positive way.

HOW DOES IT WORK
To participate you need to be nominated by a WSA National Expert as the best national digital application in one of the 8 categories.
The nominations to WSA are possible through national contests and national expert panel selection. Each country can only nominate one project/solution per category.
IFIE is the proud representative of WSA in Israel and have built the strong expert national nominating committee you see above.
Of the dozens of Israeli startups applying, we select 1-3 in each category to nominate to the international contest.
